Your body is doing
something extraordinary.
It deserves to be
photographed that way.
Intimate maternity portraits that celebrate your strength, your body, and this extraordinary season of your life.
WHAT THIS IS
Not a maternity shoot.
A portrait of a woman
in full bloom.
Traditional maternity photography often focuses on documenting the pregnancy. This is something more personal. Your session is designed around you: your strength, your form, and this specific version of yourself.
Pregnancy changes your body in ways that can feel unfamiliar, remarkable, and fleeting all at once. This is a chance to slow down and see yourself differently, not simply as someone waiting for what comes next, but as someone worth remembering exactly as you are now.
These are portraits you will keep long after this season has passed. A record not only of your pregnancy, but of you within it.
WHEN TO BOOK
Timing matters.
The ideal window for maternity portraits is short. Here’s how to think about it.
24–27 Weeks
Early
The bump is visible but still developing. A good option if you want a softer, more subtle silhouette or if you have a demanding schedule in later weeks.
28–34 Weeks
The Sweet Spot
The bump is full and beautifully rounded. Energy is generally still strong. Mobility is comfortable. This is the window most clients aim for, and where the most striking images are made.
35–36 Weeks
Late
Still possible, and some of the most dramatic images come from this stage. Comfort during the session is important, we move slowly and build in rest. Timing is tight, so book early.
Book your session date 6–8 weeks before your ideal shoot week. Babies don’t always follow the plan, so having a date locked in early gives us flexibility.

Your session takes place in a private Round Rock setting where we can control the pace, lighting, temperature, and environment around your comfort.

✓ Private Reveal
After your session, we'll meet privately to see your finished portraits, choose the images you love, and decide how you want to preserve them.
COMMON QUESTIONS
The questions
most expecting mothers are too nervous to ask.
There are no wrong questions here. If something isn't covered, ask it during your consultation. That's exactly what it's for.
-
Yes. We adapt every element of the session for your stage of pregnancy. Poses are chosen for comfort and safety, products used during hair and makeup are pregnancy-safe, the studio temperature is controlled, and we build rest time into the session. Always let us know if anything doesn’t feel right, we adjust immediately.
-
Completely fine. Some of the most striking maternity boudoir images are made with sheer fabric, a draped sheet, or a beautifully fitted piece of lingerie. Nudity is never required or assumed. We discuss your comfort level before the session and work entirely within it.
-
Maternity sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, plus approximately 60 minutes for hair and makeup. We build extra time into the schedule so there’s no rush; you can sit, rest, and move at whatever pace feels comfortable.
-
We send a full Boudoir Prep Guide after booking with specific guidance for maternity sessions. In general: arrive in loose, comfortable clothing with no tight waistbands, wear no makeup, and have your hair clean and dry. Wardrobe options, lingerie, fabric, sheer wraps, are discussed and planned during your pre-session consultation.
-
Yes, partners are welcome. If you’d like a few frames together, we plan that into the session. The experience is built around you first and foremost, but shared images are absolutely possible and often some of the most meaningful.
-
Never without your written consent. Every client signs a separate portfolio release if they choose to allow any images to be shared. The default is complete privacy. For full details, see our Privacy Guarantee.
Your maternity portraits are private by default. They will never be shared publicly without your explicit permission.
